The building must be weather tight and the temperature during application and drying must be above 5°C. Surfaces to be treated must be dry, clean and free from surface contamination. On previously decorated surfaces complete removal of the existing coatings will be necessary where there is any doubt about the integrity of the existing paint system. On most surfaces ALBI GUARD will act as its own primer, however on very porous surfaces a primer may be required. ALBI GUARD may be applied directly to surfaces treated with commonly used wood preservatives provided that such surfaces are thoroughly dry and clean.
The ALBI coatings system should only be stored between 15°C (59°F) and 25°C (77°F).
